Founding Engineer (Tech Lead, React / Full-Stack, ESOP)
The Opportunity
Lemondia is fixing the broken, fragmented market of corporate offsite planning. We are a VC-backed, revenue-generating startup automating how teams find and book venues globally.
We have reached the limits of what an external software agency can provide. We are now looking for our first in-house engineer to take full ownership of the technology, transition the product in-house, and lay the technical foundation for our next funding round.
This is not a ticket-pushing role. This is a "Founding Team" role. You will work directly with the founders to translate business strategy into technical reality. If you are successful, the path to CTO is open.
The Mission
Take Ownership: Audit, inherit, and improve the existing codebase (C# / .NET / Azure) from our external agency. You will be the sole decision-maker on architecture moving forward.
Ship AI that Matters: Move beyond the hype. You will build practical AI agents (LLM integrations) that automate complex venue sourcing and negotiation workflows.
Build the Engineering Culture: As hire #1, you set the standards. You choose the tools, the CI/CD pipelines, and eventually, you will help hire and lead the future team.
Bridge Business & Tech: You won’t just write code. You will help us decide what to build to drive revenue and user growth.
Who You Are?
A React Pro (with a Full-Stack Mindset): You live and breathe React. You know the ecosystem (Hooks, State Management, Next.js) inside out. However, you are not just a frontend dev; you are comfortable jumping into a C#/.NET backend to wire up APIs
A Builder, Not Just a Coder: You have end-to-end experience taking a feature from a messy idea to a deployed production environment.
Pragmatically AI-Native: You don't need to write ML research papers, but you must understand how to leverage LLMs and APIs to solve real-world user problems fast.
Fearless with Legacy Code: You aren't afraid to dive into an agency-built codebase, refactor the critical parts, and stabilize it.
Prague-Based (Initially): You understand that in the early days, high-bandwidth communication happens in person. You are ready to be on-site with the founders in Prague during the onboarding and transition phase.
