We’re searching for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS-hosted production platform. You’ll be the technical guardian of uptime, security, and cost-efficient scaling - partnering closely with software engineers and product teams to ship features confidently and continuously. If you thrive on automating everything, hardening Linux systems, and squeezing every millisecond of latency out of distributed architectures, you’ll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and fine-tune highly available AWS workloads using ALB, EC2, ASG, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, VPC, IAM, and Elastic Beanstalk.
  • Continuously optimize performance, cost, and reliability through proactive monitoring and data-driven tuning.
  • Champion AWS and Linux security best practices (least-privilege IAM, hardened AMIs, OS patching, network segmentation, least privilege, automated compliance checks).
  • Administer, patch, and monitor a fleet of production Linux servers; troubleshoot from kernel to application layer when seconds matter.
  • Lead capacity planning, chaos testing, and DR simulations to prepare the platform for traffic surges and unexpected failure modes.
  • Work hand-in-hand with development squads to streamline CI/CD pipelines, advise on cloud-native design patterns, and remove infrastructure bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate new AWS features, tooling, and industry trends; drive proof-of-concepts and production roll-outs that move the needle on speed, stability, and cost.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • AWS Mastery – Proven, hands-on ownership of the core services listed above in a 24×7 production setting.
  • Linux Guru – Deep understanding of Linux system internals, security hardening, and performance tuning.
  • Production Track Record – Several years managing mission-critical workloads where downtime translates to real financial impact.
  • Automation Mind-set – Everything you touch becomes reproducible, version-controlled, and observable.
  • English Fluency (B2+) – Able to communicate design decisions and incident post-mortems with clarity across an international team.
