Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for building and maintaining robust, scalable systems? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and play a crucial role in evolving and scaling our monitoring infrastructure. You will be a key contributor in ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our systems and applications.
You can work from anywhere but our preferred option is for you to join us in our newly renovated modern office in the center of Brno.
How we work
We work in 2-week sprints.
We plan development in Jira, as well as individual tasks.
Our applications run in Docker containers, we version Ansible playbooks in Git and keep documentation in Confluence.
Google Workspace is used for electronic communication (Chat, Meet, Email).
The company's structure is based on the unFIX model, which helps innovation and agile development.
What you will do
Design, implement, and maintain our monitoring and observability infrastructure using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, and Graylog.
Develop and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools Ansible and AWX.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues, working closely with development and operations teams.
Proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks and system vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and tools.
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability.
What we expect from you
2+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
Strong understanding of Linux system administration.
Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWX workflows).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with server-providers like OVH, Google Cloud, Amazon, ...
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice to have
Experience with serverless technologies.
Experience with network connections.
Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of security best practices.
Experience with chaos engineering principles.
