About Firefish

Firefish is a bitcoin startup with big ambitions. We’re building a secure platform for Bitcoin‑backed lending. No corporate hierarchy, no endless meetings – just a small team of people who know what they’re doing, ship fast, and stand behind what they build.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who will take charge, mentor the team, and help push both our product and technology forward. Want to build instead of just talking about building? Join us.

What you’ll do

• Build in a modern stack: React, GraphQL, Node.js, and TypeScript

• Manage our AWS infrastructure – Lambda, RDS, S3, EC2, and Bitcoin nodes

• Tackle security challenges around Bitcoin and sensitive financial data

• Maintain our Bitcoin node and Rust‑based tools

• Mentor your teammates and uphold high code quality

• Actively shape the direction of the product, not just its implementation

What we’re looking for

• Senior full‑stack developer (TypeScript, Node.js, React) with experience leading projects or teams

• AWS DevOps skills (infrastructure as code, scaling, security)

• Bonus: Rust

• Ownership mindset and the ability to deliver

• Passion for Bitcoin is a big plus
