Salsita is a high-end software development consultancy headquartered in Prague, with an additional office in Ostrava. Today, we specialize in building advanced 3D configurators for our clients.

We embrace innovation and are constantly on the look-out for cutting edge technologies that we can use on our projects. TypeScript, React, and React Native are our bread and butter for front-end development. We rely on TypeScript extensively for back-end development as well, where we use Node.js, GraphQL, and a range of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

We have adopted the power of AI, even before LLMs became widely recognized. Today, LLMs play a significant role in both our internal processes and client projects. Internally, we use tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT. In our client projects, we integrate LLMs as a “conversational UI” component. They are also a key part of our 3D Configurator platform, where we have seamlessly integrated them to enhance user interaction.

Unlike many companies we do not require developers to master any specific programming languages or development tools. We hire great developers and train them if necessary in the latest web technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native and Node.js.

Requirements:

• Talented software engineer with 2+ years of experience in any programming language.
• Experience with web-technologies, JavaScript and ideally TypeScript.
• A university degree in programming or mathematics is highly valued.
• Understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Enthusiastic team player.
• And by the way, you don’t need to know CSS/HTML—we have a dedicated team for that, so you can stay focused on coding in JavaScript!
