We are looking for a Medior++/Senior Full-Stack Engineer (NodeJS + React) for VETSTOR, who isn't afraid of AI, learns quickly, and alongside Claude Code, Cursor, and Gemini, will ship critical features to production with a real impact on pet health 🐶.

VETSTOR is a Czech platform connecting pet owners directly with their vets. We build pet health records, preventive care reminders, AI-powered product recommendations, and insurance tailored to breed and age.

Today, we are used by 100+ clinics and manage 20,000+ active pet profiles across the Czech Republic — and we are just getting started.

We are AI-friendly by default (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini are part of daily work), backed by JSK, Zaka VC, Purple Ventures, Ondřej Kania & Budeto, and we keep hiring fast (2 rounds, decision within a week).

🎯 What you'll do

Mainly backend, but you move across the stack when needed:

build backend services in Node.js + PostgreSQL
develop AI recommendations & health alerts (Gemini integration)
design APIs for web app, Shopify apps & Chrome extensions
keep infrastructure simple, efficient, reliable (no over-engineered setups)
work directly with founders on product direction

👉 Reality: one week you design a backend service, next week you tweak a Shopify app or ship a feature in a browser extension.

🧠 Who we’re looking for

strong backend (Node.js, SQL, API design)
full-stack flexibility (React + TypeScript when needed)
AI-friendly mindset: you use tools like Claude/Cursor/Gemini and think critically
pragmatism (build vs. reuse decisions)
clear communication & ability to work in a small team with real ownership

Nice to have: Shopify, AI integrations, browser extensions

👉 You don’t need to know every tool — backend strength + learning ability matter more.
