Shopify Developer for MADMONQ®

Intro

We’re looking for a passionate Shopify coding wizard – a technical architect ready to help us build the best e-commerce experience in the world of health supplements. Your mission: migrate our ecosystem from an outdated WordPress/WooCommerce setup to a high-performance, globally scalable Shopify platform.

Responsibilities

• Be the development force behind the migration of our entire ecosystem – from legacy WordPress/WooCommerce to a high-performance Shopify platform, including the crucial migration of customer data to Klaviyo.

• Develop and maintain our custom, modular Shopify theme (based on Impact) to give us unparalleled flexibility and build an international storefront that converts.

• When off-the-shelf solutions fail the MADMONQ standard, you'll be the one to build mission-critical custom apps and unique e-shop solutions from scratch

• Guarantee a seamless, zero-lag experience by relentlessly optimizing site performance, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO value across every corner of the store

• Champion version control by leveraging Git in your daily workflow to ensure a consistent, collaborative, and fail-safe deployment environment

• Team up with our Graphics Designer and Technical Administrator to turn ambitious creative projects into fully functional digital reality

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Shopify development.

• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Shopify Plus, custom app development, and working with REST APIs.

• Familiarity with version control (Git).

• Experience with WordPress is a significant plus given our current mission.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices. Experience with Figma is a plus.

• You are reliable, consistent, and can troubleshoot technical issues with a true "no BS" and Finisher’s attitude.
