About ISEE AI

ISEE AI is an MIT spin-off company building the physical artificial intelligence stack for autonomous industrial vehicle fleets. We are looking for engineers to push the frontier.

ISEE AI is backed by Founders Fund, a top-tier VC fund. One of our customers is Maersk, the world's largest container shipping company. Read more about ISEE on our website or in this TechCrunch article.

A large portion of our core research and engineering team is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Role

We are hiring Infrastructure Engineers to work at the intersection of software systems and real-world autonomous vehicle deployment.

You'll work across the full infrastructure lifecycle — designing and building the systems that get our software onto vehicles, keep it running reliably, and make our engineering team faster. This is not a back-office role: the infrastructure you build directly enables autonomous vehicles operating in live industrial yards, under real-world constraints, on tight operational timelines.

Depending on your background and interests, your work may span agentic infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, cloud systems, onboard compute management, or observability and data platforms.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure software supporting our fleet of autonomous vehicles
  • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems targeting both onboard vehicle computers and offboard cloud compute
  • Develop and maintain build systems, dependency management tooling, and release workflows
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure to support vehicle operations, data processing, and ML workloads
  • Build observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure fleet reliability and fast incident response
  • Contribute to agentic infrastructure and automation that increases engineering leverage across the organization
  • Manage onboard and offboard compute provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Several years of software engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure, platform, or DevOps work
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Linux administration
  • Solid experience with Linux systems and Git-based development workflows
  • Hands-on experience administering cloud computing infrastructure
  • Familiarity with agentic coding patterns and AI-assisted automation
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain complex system trade-offs clearly, in writing and in technical discussions
  • Genuine passion for self-driving vehicles and real-world robotics

Plus Points

  • Experience with the Bazel build system
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Databricks, or Terraform
  • Prior work in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other safety-critical system development
