Backend Tech Lead of Data Acquisition

We’re looking for an experienced developer (Node.js/TypeScript) who loves diving deep into code and is ready to help us modernize it. Someone who’s excited about stepping up into a leadership role. Here, you’ll stay hands-on while also shaping the strategy for your team and its product.

What’s waiting for you?

• You’ll dive straight into the codebase, map out the entire system and design a modernization plan. We expect you to analyze the code in depth and identify what needs fixing, improving or rethinking.
• You’ll actively contribute to ongoing projects such as rewriting microservices from JavaScript to TypeScript or migrating our infrastructure to our own hardware.
• You’ll set priorities and guide the team through changes that move the product forward.
• You’ll support and develop the team, helping engineers grow both professionally and personally.

What gives you an advantage?

• Senior-level knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript. You need to be able to keep up with developers to lead projects effectively.
• Experience with DevOps principles (Docker, Kubernetes/containerization, CI/CD).
• Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, Redis) and message brokers (ActiveMQ).
• Motivation and potential to grow into a Team Leader. We’re looking for someone who wants to lead people and projects — not just maintain the status quo.
• English proficiency.
