About BTC Prague

BTC Prague is the largest Bitcoin conference in Europe — a vibrant hub where financial freedom, decentralization, and technological innovation converge. Based in the Czech Republic, a global leader in Bitcoin innovation, BTC Prague is more than an event. It’s a movement.

With over 8,000 attendees, 250+ speakers, and 100+ Bitcoin companies from all over the world, we are shaping the future of Bitcoin adoption, education, and industry connections.

Profile: Junior Graphic Designer for BTC Prague

We’re looking for a junior graphic designer to support our Visual Lead with day-to-day production of visuals for the conference.

This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working within an existing visual identity — adapting it into assets for social media, web, partners, and print.

You will help translate our brand system into clear, consistent outputs: template-based social media graphics, standardized brand assets, simple layouts and other visuals that keep BTC Prague recognisable and visually strong across all channels.

Responsibilities

Brand Asset Production & Layout

  1. Prepare graphics for social media (speaker announcements, simple promo posts, banners) based on existing templates and guidelines.
  2. Create and adapt layouts for web, newsletters, and basic presentation slides (Figma/Canva).
  3. Prepare print-ready files for simpler formats (roll-ups, posters, flyers, badges, stickers) following provided specs.

Visual Identity Implementation

  1. Apply the BTC Prague visual identity consistently across all assets (colors, typography, grids, graphic elements).
  2. Help maintain and update component libraries in Figma / design files so that the marketing team can easily reuse templates.
  3. Support the Visual Lead with adapting new visual concepts into practical templates.

Image & Logo Processing

  1. Process partner logos (checking quality, unifying formats, exporting variants for web and print).
  2. Process speaker headshots (cropping, basic retouching if needed, preparing for templates).
  3. Organize and name files clearly so that assets are easy to find for the wider team.

Collaboration & Workflow

  1. Work closely with the Visual Lead and marketing team to deliver required assets on time.
  2. Implement feedback and iterate on visuals in a structured way.
  3. Communicate clearly about progress, capacity, and any blockers.

Requirements

  1. Basic experience with graphic design (school projects, freelancing, internship, or your own portfolio).
  2. Solid skills in Figma and/or Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (you don’t have to be a senior, but you must be able to work independently with files and templates).
  3. Ability to work in Canva for simple, fast-turnaround assets and template-based designs.
  4. Strong eye for detail — alignment, spacing, typography, and consistency.
  5. Ability to work within an existing visual identity (not reinventing it every time, but building on it)
  6. Good time management — ability to estimate and deliver small tasks on deadlines.
  7. Willingness to learn about Bitcoin, our audience, and the context of the event.
  8. English for internal communication (Czech is a plus, but not mandatory).
  9. Availability approx. 20 hours per month to start, with potential to grow to 50–60 hours per month closer to the conference.

What We Offer

Culture & Workstyle

  • Remote-first and flexible — you can plan your own schedule around clear deadlines.
  • Direct collaboration with the Visual Lead — opportunity to learn higher-level brand and art direction thinking.
  • Focus time pre/post-event — more intense production around event weeks, with calmer periods after.
  • International, low-ego team — full of people who care about their work and each other.

Impact & Growth

  • Your work will be visible across Europe’s most influential Bitcoin event.
  • Opportunity to grow from pure production work into more independent design tasks over time.
  • Experience working with global Bitcoin brands, speakers, and partners.
  • A chance to learn how large-scale event branding and visual systems are built and maintained.

Compensation & Perks

  • Fair compensation for a junior role.
  • Access to BTC Prague, behind-the-scenes experience, and exposure to top industry names.
  • Possibility to be paid in BTC.
  • Team building and one huge conference that is recognized as one of the best on the planet.
