Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our fully remote tech team.
You will be working on our backend applications, building new features and maintaining existing ones, to help us expand our services.

Your responsibilities

Working within our cross functional team consisting of Product Managers, UX designers, Engineering Managers, Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers and Data Scientists
Understand the requirements and scope to design our technical solutions
Contribute Java code to our backend applications implemented with Micronaut framework and PostgreSQL database
Create and maintain automated tests and documentation
Identify and fix bugs and issues

How do we imagine you?

Experience with imperative and functional coding in Java
Good understanding of RESTful Web APIs
Understanding and experience with relational databases
Experience with writing and maintaining of unit test suites
Hands on experience with Micronaut framework, PostgreSql database and serverless cloud platforms is a plus
Experience and willingness to act in a full-stack role is a plus (we use React to implement our frontend applications)
