ServiceNow administrator & developer – are you looking for autonomy and real impact?

  • Brno
  • Full-time

Do you already have some experience in ServiceNow administration&development and are thinking about pursuing something new, maybe more autonomous? Do you wish to enhance your skills? And lastly, are you looking for a mix of new challenges & creative work (implementing AI, designing and developing new features) with more routine tasks (minor changes and fixes and keeping ServiceNow secure and up-to-date)?

(We're looking for a colleague who can work in a hybrid setting and can come to the Brno office regularly.)

What we offer: real impact & autonomy & great people

We're part of the ambiFOX nocware group which offers B2B network solutions for huge international corporations. Thanks to our "network as a service" packages (including hardware, configuration and 24/7 monitoring), you can pay with card on gas stations and fly across the world. 😊 We're growing and almost the entirety of our international operations is covered from Brno. Cool, right?

You'll work with various teams: Our NOC team (15 agents who are constantly monitoring whether every router and switch is working properly) as well as many teams from our headquarters in Germany and from Brno – Network Engineers, Change Managers, Request & order Specialists. Everything is carefully documented in ServiceNow which we use as the main network operations tool.

You'll be a one-fox pack 🦊 (at least at the start) and you'll work closely with NOC, Service Delivery and the international team. While this setup does have some cons as well, it has huge benefits: 1) a lot of autonomy on how things are done, 2) space to realize your ideas – you'll have two instances of ServiceNow under your control and 3) our trust in your expertise. (Backup is covered and there will by plenty of opportunities to discuss ServiceNow features with colleagues).

Why this will be fun

You won’t be maintaining an old dusty platform or just “configuring tickets.”

You’ll be:

  • ✨ Automating repetitive work people hate.
  • 💡 Delivering real improvements to workflows.
  • 🧩 Solving puzzles and making systems smarter.
  • 👏 Being the person teams thank when processes stop being painful.

If you like that “aha! moment” when something that took 20 steps suddenly takes 1, you’ll fit right in.

The perks of working with us? Our foxes often mention great people and how helpful and friendly everyone is. 🫂 We have an informal culture, believe in getting things done while also having a good time in the office (no pressure or toxic management, yes to jokes and memes). (A huge selection of free snacks, specialty coffee and a dog friendly office also get mentioned quite a lot! 🐕)

(This is a part of the Brno team right after our new fox merch arrived. And yes, we often get asked "That's a cool shirt, what brand is it?" We have one for you as well if you join our team. 😉)

Your tasks will include:

In short, implementing, developing and being responsible for internal ServiceNow application suite.

In more detail:

  • 🌌Designing the ServiceNow universe – You’ll shape how CSM, Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB work together, like building the control room for our service management spaceship.
  • Running the backstage magic in ServiceNow Admin - Users, groups, roles, ACLs… you’ll keep the access smart, secure, and smooth so our teams don’t call you at midnight asking why they can’t see a form.
  • 🚀 Automating all the “Why am I still clicking this?” moments – Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Catalog Items, Data Imports. You’ll turn repetitive tasks into invisible automation that “just works.”
  • 🎯 Acting as central point of ServiceNow knowledge in our company.

How does the typical day of a ServiceNow specialist look like?

  • You work on larger-scope projects through the day. When you need a break from that, there’s always something to configure or someone asking "could we do that in ServiceNow"?
  • By larger-scope projects we mean out-of-the-box features or designing custom solutions. You'll often do data imports, automate routine tasks (e.g. Customer notification or ticket assignment workflow.)
  • You maintain integrations with external systems up and running.
  • You are also in charge in planning & executing instance upgrades, ensuring security and detecting & fixing suboptimal system configuration.

(This part was created by our current consultant Honza, who's decided to advance his career and accept a position of ServiceNow architect, so he's parting ways with us.)

You're our fox if you…

  • …have administered a ServiceNow instance for at least one year.
  • …have experience with at least one ServiceNow family release upgrade.
  • …can create an automation using flow designer, business rule, client script, scheduled jobs.
  • …know how ServiceNow has designed the ITSM and CSM products - when to use an out-of-the-box feature and when to develop a custom feature.
  • …know how to get data into ServiceNow (using import sets, REST API, or SOAP API) and how to pull data from ServiceNow (using exports, reports, dashboards, or REST API).
  • …are able to communicate in English fluently (B2+) as we often communicate with the German a Croatian branches and with international customers and also have fluent Czech/Slovak language (C1+).
  • …are a team player who can communicate with both internal and external customers, with analytical thinking and ability to plan your work and meet deadlines.

  • Financial contributions: 100 CZK/day meal contribution, 200 CZK/month phone contribution. 🥗
