Ciklum is looking for a Senior VBA Engineer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

About the role:

As a Senior VBA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The ideal consultant will primarily focus on support and maintenance of legacy systems, primarily MS Access and Excel-based tools with Power Query and VBA programmability. Additionally, they will support the development of modern tools, processes and applications to replace the legacy estate.

Responsibilities:

Support the development, operation, and maintenance of robust and scalable solutions used in the Model Production site
User support and handling of incidents related to legacy-based tools

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Power Query, VBA, Excel, Access, Windows
Background in software development (C#, .NET, DevOps, Git)
Good communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and functional teams
Curiosity for learning and passion for helping others
Self-driven. You don't wait for work to be assigned, but actively seek out the next task
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and contribute to the overall digital strategy

Desirable:

SAP knowledge
Knowledge of integrations, sync/async, SaaS and SAP to/from cloud
Familiarity with cloud services
Czech language skills
Physical proximity to Prague area
