THE ROLE

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented new graduate to join our team as a Junior IT Project Coordinator, working directly with our Head of Delivery. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both software quality assurance and project management in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone with a logical mind and a passion for technology who is eager to learn and grow. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will initially be focused on ensuring the quality of our software products along with the wider QA team and will expand to include project coordination tasks as you gain experience. 

  • Manual Testing: You'll learn to perform a variety of manual tests on new features and products. This includes functional testing (verifying features work as intended), regression testing (ensuring new changes haven't broken old features), and usability testing (checking the user experience).

  • Bug Reporting: You'll become an expert in identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software bugs using project management tools like Jira. You'll learn how to write clear, concise bug reports that developers can easily understand and reproduce.

  • Quality Gates: You'll assist in defining and executing "quality gates" before a release, ensuring that all defined criteria are met before a product goes live.

  • Support for the Head of Delivery: You'll assist with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks, including assisting to prepare project reports, updating project documentation etc

  • Resource Management: You'll help with basic resource coordination, such as scheduling meetings and ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to move a project forward.


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • A recent university graduate, preferably (but not essentially) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • A strong interest in software development and a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical, analytical mind.

  • Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • proficient in English (both written and spoken)
