Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize features from business requirements in Jira, ensuring high performance for our extensive user base.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, product managers) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Create and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
Analyze business requirements, breaking them down into technical tasks for efficient execution.
Play an active role in promoting and improving agile/scrum methodologies within the team.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development with a proven track record.
Proficiency in Kotlin 2.x, Spring Boot 3.x, JPA, Gradle, REST, and Liquibase/Flyway.
Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture.
Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., Coroutines, R2DBC).
A team-player mindset with excellent communication skills.
Native Czech or Slovak language proficiency.
Commitment to learning and adapting new technologies.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with asynchronous messaging using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Azure Cloud.
Background in developing Loyalty applications.
Experience with SCRUM methodology.
International background/experience.
