Financial Manager

To ensure our projects are not only innovative but also financially sound, we're looking for a meticulous and proactive Financial Manager to join our Prague office and become the financial backbone of our project delivery teams.

As our Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the complete financial lifecycle of our projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers and the Operations team to ensure every project is set up for success, remains profitable, and runs smoothly from a financial perspective. What You'll Be Doing

• Budget Allocation & Management: Allocate and manage project budgets across all stages, ensuring alignment with our financial goals and desired profitability ratios.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee day-to-day project finances, including monitoring budget consumption, assigning monthly team budgets, and ensuring efficient expense approval.
• Client Billing & Invoicing: Manage the complete client billing cycle, from proactively reporting on upcoming invoices to ensuring timely and accurate payment collection.
• Profitability Tracking: Track and analyse project profitability in real-time, providing crucial financial insights and guidance to Project Managers and the Operations team.
• Change Management: Analyse the financial impact of scope changes or project adjustments and provide expert recommendations to maintain optimal budget performance.
• Financial Reporting: Lead the financial closing process for projects, delivering comprehensive reports on overall profitability and performance to key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager, Project Accountant, or a similar role, preferably within a digital agency, software development, or professional services environment.
• A strong understanding of project-based financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Czech and English, with the ability to clearly report financial information to internal teams and clients.
• Proficiency with financial software and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets).
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a talent for partnering effectively with non-financial team members.
