Senior Design Engineer - Spacecraft Components
We accelerate spacecraft manufacturers through the smart components. For that we must challenge the ways things have been done, designed, manufactured and tested so far. To help us to design, test and manufacture cutting-edge electro-mechanical components for satellites, scientific probes, rocket launchers and ground segment of space industry.

Our release actuators ATLAS already safe costs of demanding test campaigns of space systems. But we do not stop there. In cooperation with European Space Agency and commercial partners, we are about to take ATLAS actuators to orbit! And you would be the main designer of the solution.
👉 What will you work on?
Design of electro-mechanical products for space industry including:
- Definition of concepts
- Definition and management of product requirements
- 3D modelling, review and participation on manufacturing documentation
- Structural, functional, reliability analysis (FEA, FMECA, handcalcs)
- Clear product documentation
- Rapid prototyping and iteration
- Participation on the definition of test plans and test campaigns
- Presentation of the work internally and to the international clients

👉 What should you bring?
- Experience with parametric CAD tools including drawings, FEM tools, management of product requirements
- Experience with design principles practically manifested in previous work, projects, theses or internships
- Sense of responsibility, attention to detail
- Problem solving mindset and willingness to always learn
- Written and spoken English on technical level
- Capability to work both alone and in a small team, strong self-organisation skills
- Experience in space (alternatively aviation) industry 4+ years, awareness of ECSS standards, passion for space and technology 🖤 , international experience (studies/work)
- CZ citizenship or work permit is conditional
👉 How to become a crew member?

- If the outcome of the meeting is mutually positive, you will be given a representative 'over-weekend' design task concluded with remote or personal presentation. We will then take a few days for evaluation.
- If the outcome is positive, we will schedule a final negotiation meeting.
