About tickadoo

tickadoo is redefining how people experience the world. We're moving beyond passive browsing and generic search results - into a new era of travel and entertainment, where personalized recommendations, smart itineraries, and instant bookings come together in one beautifully simple app.

Imagine luxury concierge-level service, but democratized for everyone. We're unlocking unforgettable experiences in 500+ cities globally, helping users discover the best of where they are, or where they're going, before they even ask.

With a successful exit already behind us, we're post-revenue, with proven traction, a seasoned founding team and global supply already secured via strategic supply partnerships.

Why this role matters

We're a small, fast-moving team. You'll work directly with our co-founder and product team to shape the architecture and own the react codebase, bringing to life an app that's both technically strong and design-award worthy.

What you'll do

This is a full-time role for a Frontend Engineer, located in Prague, Czechia. We are remote friendly, but we'd like to meet in the office 1-2 days a week as a team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

  • Help design the architecture and design of our solution
  • Create reusable components, thoughtful architecture, and clean code that scales
  • Collaborate closely with design to implement great UX
  • Help define our culture, tooling and processes
  • Code, do code reviews, test etc.

What we're looking for

  • Professional frontend development experience using javascript.
  • Passion for crafting stunning and fluid responsive UIs
  • Great communicator who thrives in a fast, product-focused startup

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI toolchains (eg, GPT, Eleven Labs) — or strong curiosity to learn
  • Previous experience with event, travel, or lifestyle products
  • Experience with in-app payments, maps, location, or real-time personalization.
