Sr. Backend Engineer (Integrations)

🚀 About the job

• As a Software Engineer focused on integrations, you’ll enable the most popular systems and software used by our clients to work seamlessly with FaceUp — bringing real value and enhancing their workflows.
• You’ll lead integration projects from the technical side, acting as the driving force behind designing and delivering solutions that solve real problems for our users and enhance their entire experience.
• You’ll work closely with integration product manager and Business development team to understand use cases and deliver tailored solutions.
• You’ll work on APIs, manage data flows between systems, and ensure stability and high performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into solutions that make a real impact.
• Develop and maintain TypeScript backend module (separate service in future) that integrate with third-party systems.
• You’ll be a part of our R&D team and work closely with our Product managers and Business development team to ensure integrations deliver real value to our customers.

• For us, security is crucial (E2E encryption, ISO 27001, etc.)

🙌 Requirements

• Great understanding of API protocols (GraphQL, REST, SOAP, etc.) and experience with API, webhooks and other other data interchange solutions development.
• Pragmatic problem-solver with passion for clean, maintainable code, and building solutions that scale with customer needs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Czech proficiency - since whole R&D communicate in Czech (and English is a great bonus for us)

🤝 What else could come in handy?

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Experience with HR, ERP, or security software integrations would come handy. Same with understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
