Information Systems Administrator/Application Admin

The TechOperations team, led by Radek Žikeš, is currently looking for a new colleague to help us ensure the secure and functional operation of our key applications and environment for our entire group of internal employees and external collaborators.

The collaboration is based on full-time employment (HPP) in a hybrid onsite format (3+2).

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for the administration and configuration of key SaaS and on-prem tools such as Google Workspace, YouTrack, Slack, Cloudflare, GitLab, and others.

• You will be administering cloud environments, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.

• You will manage access to both cloud and on-prem systems to ensure everything is secure and at the same time convenient for users.

• Management of end-user devices (laptops, phones…).

• You will help us maintain and improve security policies across devices, systems, and user accounts.

• And you will also create documentation and automations that will make work easier for L1 support and yourself.

What are we looking for?

• You have advanced experience with Google Workspace administration or a similar platform, where you manage users, devices, and security settings.

• You are familiar with IAM principles, you know what roles, policies, and access rights are and how to set them up correctly.

• You have an overview of cloud environment administration, whether from Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

• Security of end-user devices and cloud services is not new to you.

• You can work with MDM tools and/or have experience with endpoint management automation, so you don't have to do things manually when there's a better way.

• You won't get lost in any operating system – you handle MacOS, Linux, and Windows with ease and know what to find and set up where.

We will be extra happy if you

• Have experience with automation and scripting.

• Have an overview of compliance and security requirements. You know what compliance with standards entails and how to set things up securely.

• Have experience with virtualization, whether via Hyper-V, Proxmox, Kubernetes, or VMware.

• Are independent and have a desire to learn new tools.

• Are responsible and have the ability to document things.

• Can communicate well across teams.

• Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and look for ways to move things forward.
