Powertica Commodities AG is an expanding international commodity trader, specializing in power, natural gas, oil, coal and gold trading on commodity exchanges worldwide, bilateral trading with brokers and counterparties, as well as dispatch generation resources in the Czech Republic. The company is currently expanding its business activities and is in search of seasoned IT professionals.

Front-End Software Developer

As a Front-End Software Developer, you will participate in development of internal software applications supporting commodity trading and their maintenance. Your responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX wireframes to actual code. You will work closely with the UX/UI designers as well as the development team, taking an active role in bridging the technical implementation and graphical design, defining the final look and feel of the application.

What will be your responsibility?

Design and implementation of new solutions, websites and applications
Review and improvement of the existing software solutions
Cooperation with UX/UI designers, business analysts and end-users to ensure that systems meet their requirements.

What do we expect?

At least Three years proven experience as a JavaScript Developer.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with understanding of generics.
Extensive experience with HTML5 and CSS
Demonstrable expertise in the React framework.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools(e.g. Gitlab).
Solid knowledge of APIs and RESTful web services.
Knowledge of statically typed languages a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion for software development, eagerness to learn.
