Time Commitment: Initially 15 - 20 hours per week with possibility to convert to 40 hrs in a few months (will require some overlap with the US west coast time zone).

Job Overview: A newly funded startup is seeking a highly organized and proactive Founders Associate  to support our executive team of founders — based in the United States and in Prague. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Prague but will require flexibility to work partially on West Coast time (US AM Pacific Time).

👨‍🔬 Key Responsibilities

Support for US-Based Executive Team:

  • Support Product Management and Product Discovery.

  • Conduct market research and gather relevant data to support business decisions.

  • Support the executive team in a variety of operational tasks including (process development, meeting preparation, managing of budgets & cash flow, resource allocation, etc… )

  • Coordinate with US-based teams and external partners as needed.

Support for Prague-Based Executive Team

  • Manage recruitment processes, including posting job listings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.

  • Handle various office management tasks, such as coordinating office supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a smooth running of the Prague office.

  • Assist with local and international travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and other administrative duties.

Operations & Product

  • Independently lead high-priority projects from scoping to execution.

  • Support in the product development and product management

  • Support finance and ops planning by building and maintaining lightweight systems for tracking budgets, burn, cost analysis, invoices, workflows, and company OKRs.

  • Assist in preparing materials for investors, board updates, and strategic planning.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that don’t yet have an owner — and make them happen.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., legal, accounting, IT) and ensure timely coordination.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a point of contact between the founding/executive team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across different time zones.

  • Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as required.

  • Ensure all members of the executive/founding team are kept informed of critical tasks, deadlines, and priorities.

  • Coordinating interviews between candidates and the rest of the team.


📖 Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in both Czech and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • Experience: The position is suitable for new college graduates. However, proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, international environment is a plus. 

  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, especially in coordinating tasks across different time zones.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Workspace, and other common office software. Experience with project management tools is a plus.

  • Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the founders.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard office hours to align with West Coast US time as needed.
