Unreal Game engineer with C++

Role description: 

Your primary task will be to develop and maintain our Unreal engine plugin and tools, allowing our customers to instrument their game as seamlessly as possible. You’ll identify main pain points of the usage of our solution from customers feedback and look for ways to make it easier.  

You will also be responsible for guiding our customers to the best ways to instrument their games. In collaboration with our research team, you will help our customers integrate our testing solution into their workflow. You will help establish guidelines for future customers on the testing process. 

Typical tasks in the role: 

• Decompose and analyze existing code within game engines to discern game mechanics within our customer's codebase. Create methodologies and mechanisms to integrate our technology into it. 

• Collaborate with the internal research team and product development team to ensure optimal and systemic integration. 

• Work closely with project management to understand client's specific needs and develop custom solutions that meet their requirements 

• Conduct testing and quality assurance on the integration of our tech into the customer's workflow and codebase 

• Constantly look for opportunities to innovate and optimize the process of integrating our product into customer projects. 

Requirements:  

• Experience with Gameplay programming 

• Proficiency in C++ / Unreal engine 

• Generalist game development experience - entity systems, component systems, controllers, scripting, pathfinding, etc. 

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery solutions used in game development and development 

• Hands-on practice with project versioning systems such as Git (Preffered), SVN, Perforce
