Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of interesting software products?
Join MapTiler as a Server Tester and become an essential part of the team contributing to our On-prem portfolio. You will work with mapping products that are viewed by hundreds of millions of people worldwide every month. As a Server Tester, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing our applications, identifying bugs and issues, and providing detailed feedback to the development team. Your work will contribute directly to the enhancement of our mapping products and the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Join us in our newly renovated modern office in the center of Brno (hybrid mode possible).
How we work
We work in 2-week sprints.
We plan development in Jira, as well as individual tasks.
Our applications run in Docker containers, we version Ansible playbooks in Git and keep documentation in Confluence.
Google Workspace is used for electronic communication (Chat, Meet, Email).
The company's structure is based on the unFIX model, which helps innovation and agile development.
What you will do
Conduct thorough QA and performance testing of software applications, primarily in On-prem solutions.
Identify and document software defects and issues, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
Create and maintain test scenarios.
Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
Ensure improving processes and automating testing procedures.
What we expect from you
2+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing techniques.
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Testmo or TestRail.
Skilled in creating and maintaining automated end-to-end tests using Cypress (or similar testing framework).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Demonstrate precision, consistency, and strong organizational skills.
A team player who collaborates on a common outcome.
A strong drive for self-improvement, learning, and sharing knowledge.
Nice to have
Background in server-side solutions.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
