🐍 Senior Data Analyst (Python, Brno)

Our Data Analysis team in Brno is looking for a Senior Data Analyst that will drive the development of a new project.
You can expect to be working alongside an exploration & innovation unit of a major customer who is developing a prototype of a new hi-tech system component. By analyzing telemetric data the prototype is producing, you will enable our customer to gain insights into its functionality and assist in further development. Ultimately, your work will support the customer in ensuring the quality of their products.
YOUR ROLE:
You will provide technical leadership for a new project. This involves translating domain expert needs into technical solutions, identifying the right approaches and tooling, and driving implementation from prototyping to productization.
Under your technical leadership, the project will enable our customer to monitor the health of a newly developed system, ultimately moving from static reporting to development and maintenance of live dashboards. As a key decision maker, you will be responsible for the project's successful delivery and technical excellence.
You'll also mentor more junior colleagues by offering them technical guidance and code reviews.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- proven ability to lead a data-analysis-related project on a technical level
- good understanding of Python and pandas (ability to write efficient and observable data-processing pipelines, ability to adhere to and set good coding practices)
- experience with building reporting and dashboarding solutions in Python (using e.g. Pandas, Dash, Streamlit, Panel, ...)
WE GIVE EXTRA POINTS FOR:
- experience with Grafana or other tools for data pipeline monitoring
- experience with CICD (Gitlab CICD, Jenkins, Github Actions)
- working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- hands-on experience with PowerBI
- ability and previous exposure to team and project leadership
- working experience with workflow management platforms for ETL pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, DAGster)
- experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
- solid theoretical background in computer science (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, OOP...)
