Are you an experienced Tech Lead with a Python development background? Do you enjoy designing software architecture, reviewing code, and collaborating across teams to bring meaningful features to life?
We’re looking for a Python Tech Lead to join our team and help shape our platform. You’ll design architecture, build REST APIs, define database models, and guide your team through development. Alongside coding, you’ll mentor developers, review work, and align with the CTO and product team to turn ideas into scalable solutions.
You can work from anywhere in Czechia or join us in our newly renovated modern office in the center of Brno.
How we work
We work in 2-week sprints.
We plan development in Jira, as well as individual tasks.
Our applications run in Docker containers, we version Ansible playbooks in Git and keep documentation in Confluence.
Google Workspace is used for electronic communication (Chat, Meet, Email).
The company's structure is based on the unFIX model, which helps innovation and agile development.
What you will do
Act as the Tech Lead for your team, guiding technical direction and development
Design the architecture of new solutions, from concept to implementation
Prepare new REST and GraphQL API structures to integrate with other applications
Design the structure and models of software databases
Continuously improve and optimize existing software solutions
Collaborate closely with the product manager
Review development tickets and provide feedback to team members
Help with the first evaluation of new feature ideas
Align with the CTO on technical approaches and technology choices for upcoming features
What we expect from you
7+ years of experience in software development using Python (ideally Flask) for web applications
Solid background in designing software architecture
Skilled in working with databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
Familiar with containerization and deployment using Docker
Mentoring junior developers
Precision, diligence, and strong organizational skills
A team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve shared goals
Strong motivation for self-improvement, learning, and knowledge-sharing
Nice to have
Experience with C++ development
Experience with FE development in React
Previous experience with Agile
Interest in maps and cartography

Hourly fixed salary based on your experience.
