👉 Python Data Engineer - Český Krumlov

Hello, we’re Datamole: a friendly data & AI company of 80+ people. We’re a mix of data scientists, data engineers, and fullstack developers. We develop custom AI, IoT & UI solutions for industrial companies in agriculture, machinery or biotech.

We’re now looking for a Databricks/Python Developer to join our team in Český Krumlov and help us with building data processing pipelines.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement and maintain Azure Databricks based data processing pipelines with performance, reliability, scalability, security and costs efficiency in mind
• Build continuous integration and delivery pipelines through established infrastructure as code frameworks
• Technical co-operation with engineers on the customer side

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 1+ years of professional experience in software or data engineering
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in Python (to be efficient in Databricks)
• Experience with cloud computing (Azure, GCP, AWS or other), Kubernetes and Docker
• Solid theoretical background in computer science (data structures, algorithms) and software engineering (network protocols, design patterns, programming paradigms - OOP, functional programming)
• The ability to work in a Linux environment

TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL WORK WITH:

• Databricks (Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, DLT, Dashboards, …)
• Azure services (Storage Account, Key Vault, VNet, …)
• Git, Github, GitHub Actions
• Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes

 NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Databricks or Apache Spark
• GitHub Actions
• Terraform
• Python data science stack (Polars, Numpy, Scipy) and data engineering
• & expertise in other programming language (C#, Scala, Java, Rust, …)
