Are you a law graduate with a knack for contracts and a borderline obsessive attention to detail? Do terms like "data privacy compliance" and "commercial law" light up your world? If so, we’d love to have you on board as our Junior Legal Counsel! We are looking for someone who is in their final year of law school or has successfully passed and knows way around data privacy regulations (bonus points if you can make it sound exciting in a meeting), experience navigating the world of commercial or enterprise law are big plus!
👩🏻💻 What's waiting for you?
Conduct comprehensive legal research on various matters, including commercial, enterprise, and data privacy laws.
Monitor updates to relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Assist in maintaining standardized contract templates and agreement processes.
Provide legal support on data privacy matters, including compliance with GDPR or other relevant data protection regulations.
Advise on privacy-related issues in agreements and company practices.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, IT, Finance) to provide legal guidance on cross-functional initiatives.
Participating in developing company policies on legal issues.
Organize and maintain legal documents and databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and ease of retrieval.
📍 What do we expect from you?
Finished law school or 4th/5th year of law school.
Strong knowledge of contract drafting and legal research methodologies.
Familiarity with data protection laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain.
Complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Excellent level of written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and in a team remote environment.
