💼 What you’ll work on

Are you at the beginning of your developer journey, curious about the optimization problems you first encountered at university, and eager to build software end-to-end? 🚀 Join our team and help us transform optimization algorithms into applications that companies rely on every day.

In this role, you’ll build the software around our optimization engines - the back-end services, system integrations, and application layer that turns an algorithm into a product people actually use.

The optimization core is one important piece of the puzzle, but most of your day-to-day work will be about making the whole solution come together:

• 🔗 Building robust APIs
• 🔄 Designing efficient data flows
• ☁️ Supporting reliable deployment

You’ll work on real projects across manufacturing, automotive, supply chain, logistics, and energy - the kind where smarter algorithms help companies save money, improve efficiency, and reduce CO₂ emissions. 🌱

Don’t worry if your optimization knowledge is still mostly from lectures and coursework - that curiosity is exactly what we’re looking for. You’ll work alongside experienced optimization engineers and full-stack developers who love sharing their knowledge, and you’ll grow into the maths as you go.

What matters most is your eagerness to learn, your ability to write clean and maintainable code, and your enthusiasm for building the full picture - not just one layer of it.

✅ Recognize yourself?

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 💻 First practical experience with software development, whether from internships, university projects, or your own side projects.
• 🐍 Confident in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Kotlin, or Java).
• 🧮 Genuine interest in optimization, with a solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and mathematical reasoning - university-level exposure is perfectly fine.
• 🔧 Willingness to work across the whole application and own features end-to-end - we don’t expect front-end experience coming in, as it’s something you can quickly learn on the job.
• 🌍 Ability to communicate in English in verbal and written form (minimum B2).
• 🤝 Eagerness to learn, combined with enthusiasm for working as part of a collaborative team.

⭐ Nice to have

• 🧩 Exposure to combinatorial optimization, mathematical programming, or meta-heuristic algorithms such as Simulated Annealing or Evolutionary Algorithms (even a single university course counts!).
• 🔌 Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• 🚀 Experience writing production-ready code.
• ☁️ Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• 🐳 Elementary knowledge of Docker or other DevOps practices.
• 🛠️ Personal or academic projects you’d be proud to show us.
