We’re looking for one senior person who wants real ownership and likes building fast inside a small team.
Now We’re about to build a focused Android app and take pride in doing it well. We’re looking for a senior developer who values clean solutions, thoughtful UX, and wants a real say in how the product evolves. You’ll work closely with iOS developers, machine learning engineers and designers to shape both the experience and the underlying functionality.
What you’ll do
Develop, and maintain a robust Android application using modern technologies
Collaborate with iOS developers, ML engineers and designers to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences
Translate product requirements and UI designs into high-quality, scalable code
Identify gaps or ambiguities in specifications and proactively propose better solutions
Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and continuous integration
Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve development processes
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience developing Android applications
Full-time commitment, based in Prague (Czechia) — minimum 2 days per week onsite in Prague, the rest can be remote.
Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin and ability to implement custom, non-standard UI components
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and design patterns
Experience working with REST APIs and network communication (experience with real-time or streaming protocols is a plus)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with relational databases
Ability to work independently and take ownership of features from concept to delivery
Experience working in agile development environments
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially regarding UX and performance
Nice to have
Experience with TFLite/ONNX or general machine learning concepts
Experience with iOS development or collaboration with iOS developers
