AI Solutions Engineer
📍 Prague | Brno 🕰 Part-Time | Full-Time (from 30 hours/week)
Looking for something beyond standard cloud deployments? Now's your chance. ⭐️
We’re looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to help us shape Europe’s AI future - ideating & deploying AI business use-cases across our European clients.
About Us
We are DataSentics, a technology company focused on delivering practical, scalable AI solutions for enterprises and public institutions. Our clients include organizations such as Erste Group, Allianz, and Bayer. As part of Bull, a global technology group with ~3,000 experts across more than 25 countries, we work across a broad portfolio — from AI-powered solutions and products to platforms and infrastructure that enable AI adoption in complex, regulated environments.
🤖 About the Product
One of our key initiatives is BullSequana AI (BSQ AI), a full-lifecycle Data & AI platform for organizations operating in highly regulated, sovereign environments where public cloud isn't an option. It enables customers to run AI while meeting strict requirements around data sovereignty, security, and governance. Our customers include AI factories, sovereign cloud providers, defence, and the public sector. BSQ AI is built entirely in Europe, follows an open-source-first approach, and is powered by best-in-class open-source technologies such as Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, vLLM, and Milvus, with no vendor lock-in.
🛠️ What You'll Do
You'll join a small team bringing BSQ AI to customers across Europe — from first idea to production. This role sits at the intersection of customer conversations, solution design, and hands-on building. One day you're on a call shaping an AI use case, the next you're building a PoC or turning it into a production-ready solution on top of our platform.
Talk to customers and shape AI solutions — join customer calls, listen to the business problem, and ideate a solution live - what AI use case fits, what data is needed, how it would be delivered on BSQ AI.
Turn ideas into working demos and PoCs — quickly prototype things like RAG chatbots, AI agents, document pipelines, enterprise search, or speech-to-text solutions.
Take successful PoCs to production — help turn prototypes into real, supported solutions running at the customer.
Work across the GenAI stack — using tools like vLLM, Milvus, MLflow, and Langfuse to build practical AI use cases.
Collaborate closely with platform engineers — they build the platform; you build what runs on top of it and makes it valuable for customers.
Stay close to what's new in GenAI — models, frameworks, agent patterns, RAG variants, MCP, and the tools worth actually using.
🧩 What We're Looking For
You build fast. You can take an idea and turn it into a working demo or PoC quickly (AI coding tools are part of your workflow).
You're not afraid of production. Deploying your work (e.g. into a Kubernetes-based environment) is part of the job.
You're genuinely into AI. You follow what's happening, experiment on your own, and have a point of view.
You're comfortable in ambiguity. You can jump into a customer conversation, ask the right questions, and shape a solution even when things aren't fully defined.
You connect business and tech. You understand the problem and turn it into something buildable — and then actually build it.
You've worked with GenAI in practice. RAG, chatbots, agents, document AI… you know how these things are built, not just how they look on a slide.
You're hands-on with Python and the AI stack. APIs, LLM SDKs, orchestration, vector databases — nothing exotic, but you can get things done.
You're confident in English — written, spoken, and in front of customers.
🎁 What You'll Get
Direct work with customers across Europe on real AI use cases, not internal demos or sandbox projects, there's a real business impact.
A short loop from idea to demo to production - you'll see your work used.
Hands-on experience with the GenAI stack that's shaping the space right now.
A fully open-source stack, with room to change it where it makes sense.
A small, highly capable team with minimal overhead and fast decision-making — where you can shape how things are built and shipped.
Remote-first, with offices in Prague and Brno; flexible from 30 hours/week.
Sounds like your kind of challenge? Send us your CV or LinkedIn and let’s talk. ☕️
