About the project:
Youโll join a London-based startup ๐ฌ๐ง working on a data integration platform connected to live events (such as concerts) and ticketing portals. You will be working directly for the client (B2B contract), becoming part of their core team. The company is stable, profitable, growing and this is expected to be a long-term role.
Tech stack:
- Python
- AWS
- PostgreSQL, Redis
- NoSQL databases
What youโll be doing:
- Building and scaling backend services for a data-heavy platform
- Designing integrations and working with APIs
- Collaborating on architecture and improving system performance
- Working closely with a small, agile team in a startup environment
Setup:
- Fully remote (100%), full-time, long-term
- Small team, fast decision-making. Lead engineer based in Ostrava (Czechia)
- Possible business trips to London (not mandatory)
- Direct contract with the client
- Salary up to 6,000 USD per month + annual bonuses
What we expect from you:
- Advanced experience with Python
- Strong experience with AWS
- Solid knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, NoSQL)
- Experience with backend systems and data-heavy applications
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Startup mindset โ proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented
- Good communication skills and English at least B2 level
