Project Manager
đź©· About us
At PLG Group, we connect people with culture — from concerts, theatre, and festivals to exhibitions and other live events across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
PLG Czech Republic consists of three strong local brands with a long tradition: Ticketportal has been on the scene since 2002, GoOut since 2011, and Ticketstream since 2001. Our long-term goal is to provide partners and customers with simple access to every corner of cultural and sports life. On our platforms, everyone can find an event that is just right for them and purchase tickets immediately.
Thanks to the backing of an international company and the combined know-how of three connected local teams, we have access to top-tier technological capabilities. At the same time, our philosophy remains simple: we operate openly, creatively, and close to the people who create culture every day.
đź’š Your role
As a Project Manager, you’ll contribute directly to our mission of connecting people with culture. You’ll have the space to take ownership, shape processes, and make a meaningful impact in your area of expertise.
In this role, you will work closely with the Product Owner, tech leads, and an international team of frontend and backend developers to coordinate delivery, facilitate team processes, and ensure projects move forward smoothly.
You will take ownership of smaller projects, help maintain a clear and structured backlog, and support the team in resolving blockers, managing dependencies, and keeping delivery on track.
Our team is currently working on several products including a marketplace platform or internal CMS systems, and we are actively expanding to new markets and launching our products in new countries.
This role is not only about tracking tasks – we are looking for someone who can actively drive delivery, facilitate collaboration across the team, and help us improve how we work.
What you’ll do:
Take ownership of delivery and execution across multiple product initiatives
Help to coordinate launches of our products to new markets
Manage smaller projects independently from planning to delivery
Coordinate work across an international team of frontend and backend developers
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Work closely with the Product Owner to understand the backlog and ensure smooth sprint planning
Collaborate with frontend and backend tech leads on task breakdown, estimations, and technical dependencies
Help maintain a clear and structured backlog by supporting task breakdown and delivery preparation
Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies early and help the team resolve them
Track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule
Support cross-team communication and alignment across multiple products
Contribute to improving team processes and delivery flow
What we’re looking for:
Fluent communication skills in Czech and English (B2/C1)
3+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a similar role in software development
Strong ability to coordinate team delivery and keep projects moving forward
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel while maintaining clear priorities
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience working closely with Product Owners or Product Managers & Developers or Engineers
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
A mindset focused on improving team processes and not being afraid to challenge existing ways of working — we are open to evolving how we operate
Experience with CMS development & delivery is a plus
