Program Migration Analyst
We are looking for a new colleague for our parent company Orbian.
Orbian is a rapidly growing financial services firm serving large corporate multinationals and their supply chains worldwide. Program migrations—such as platform upgrades, client onboarding transitions, data movements, and process changes—are key to our continued growth. As a Program Migration Analyst, you will support the successful delivery of migration activities across the business, ensuring data accuracy, strong controls, and smooth operational execution.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Program Migration Analyst supports the coordination, preparation, and execution of migration-related activities. This includes data validation, documentation updates, SME and UAT testing support, stakeholder communication, and quality checks across migration workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Coordination
- Assist senior colleagues in preparing migration plans, timelines, and task lists.
- Support stakeholder coordination by collecting requirements and documenting impacts.
- Help prepare checklists, Runbooks, data templates, and validation files.
- Change Delivery
- Support assigned migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, and verification.
- Assist with testing cycles, including preparing test cases and documenting results.
- Conduct post-migration validation and support reconciliation tasks.
- Raise issues promptly and follow escalation procedures.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track and update progress logs for migration tasks.
- Produce basic reports on migration status, issues, and trends.
- Assist in identifying small improvements to processes or documentation
- Daily Migration & Operational Support
- Review and validate data for migration readiness.
- Support updates to documentation for processes, mappings, and business rules.
- Help manage migration-related queries from internal teams.
- Ensure that all steps follow internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Maintain issue logs under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support preparation of risk documentation and contribute to mitigation activities.
- Ensure that all data is handled securely and in line with ISO standards.
- People, Learning & Development
- Participate in training sessions related to migration frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Share learnings and collaborate with team members to improve processes.
- Take ownership of personal development and seek opportunities to build deeper migration expertise.
- Main Governance & Control
- Maintain accurate records, templates, and audit trails for migration activities.
- Support data quality checks, exception reporting, and version control of documents.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations to ensure alignment on migration requirements.
Knowledge & Experience (Essential)
- 1–3 years’ experience in operations, data management, financial services, or system/process migration.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data validation or transformation work.
- Exposure to working with structured data, templates, or business rules.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Previous involvement in testing cycles UAT or data migration projects.
- Degree or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge & Experience (Desirable)
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or data analysis tools (Power BI).
- Experience with ERP, treasury systems, or CRM tools (SAP, IT2, Salesforce).

Additional Information
