Junior Business Development Associate – Partnerships & VC Outreach (Web3 / DeFi)

A role also for students/part-time.

Margarita Finance is building permissionless, on-chain infrastructure for institutional-grade  yield. We work with derivatives-based strategies used by professional trading desks and bring them fully on-chain. We’re looking for a junior BD to help us grow our network across partnerships, investors, and the Web3 ecosystem.

What a typical day looks like

You’ll spend your day researching partners and investors, reaching out to VCs and ecosystem players, coordinating introductions, and supporting external communication around Margarita Finance.

Team & environment

You’ll work directly with the founders and core team in a small, fast-moving startup with direct exposure to strategy, fundraising, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to VCs, funds, DAOs, and strategic partners

• Supporting partnership discussions and follow-ups

• Managing and growing our presence on social media (mainly X / LinkedIn)

• Sharing and reposting relevant ecosystem content

• Preparing short partner briefs and outreach materials

• Supporting BD efforts around conferences and events

Challenges

• Reaching the right decision-makers in a crowded Web3 market

• Learning to communicate a technical product clearly

• Building credibility and relationships from early-stage positioning
