Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer (B2B SaaS, Data Platform)
Over the past several months, I have been working on a large-scale dataset of e-commerce websites in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The database currently contains 22,978 e-shops, with up to 52 data attributes per record (e.g. domain, shop_url, company_name, email, category, platform, status, live flag, company ID, VAT ID, validation states, ARES data, addresses, metadata, and more). The dataset is the result of long-term data collection, cleaning, and validation. The project also includes Python scripts for automated validation and data extraction from publicly available sources.
What will the final product be?
The final product will be a web-based B2B platform that enables companies to work with high-quality, verified data about e-shops and businesses. Users will be able to filter the database using various criteria, analyze individual entities, and efficiently reach out to them through structured sales and marketing workflows.
The system will include automatic data growth and continuous validation, ensuring that the database is not static but continuously maintained and updated. The goal is to build a tool that sits between raw web data and real-world business use.
In the future, the project will gradually expand beyond e-shops to include a complete database of companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, followed by companies across the wider European region. The platform will also be extended with modern AI-based tools for data analysis, classification, and enrichment. Part of the long-term vision is a system that allows purchasing lists of URLs — users will provide only an e-shop or company URL, and the platform will automatically collect, verify, and structure all relevant data into a unified dataset.
Who am I looking for?
I am looking for a technical partner / founding engineer who wants to build a long-term B2B product, not just deliver code. Someone with strong backend and data experience, who can think in terms of architecture and take ownership of the technical direction of the application.
The ideal candidate is a senior engineer who understands trade-offs between speed and quality, can design sustainable systems, and wants to be involved in building a product from the very beginning. I am not looking for an employee or a contract-based freelancer, but a partner with whom the project will be developed together.
Collaboration and equity
This is a partner-level collaboration. I am open to an equal or near-equal equity split for the right technical partner. Equity will be subject to vesting, fairly tied to long-term contribution and responsibility. The goal is to build a profitable product, not a short-term project. The company will be incorporated at the start of the collaboration.
