All buildings are designed using climate data:

• Temperature and humidity data are used for sizing and selection of heating and cooling systems
• Wind and solar radiation data are used to design the orientation and shape of a building and to evaluate the renewable energy potential
• Precipitation data are used for sizing of rainwater collection and management systems

Currently, climate data for building energy optimization are obtained from weather stations. However, weather stations are usually tens, sometimes even hundreds of km away from the site where a building will be built.

Our product MeteoInsight makes it possible to obtain a climate profile from satellite measurements for the exact location of a building anywhere in the world.
