Senior Designer (brand, UX/UI, product)

We’re looking for a Senior Designer who enjoys doing work that goes beyond the screen — and helps shape brands, products, and services with real value. You’ll get to work on a wide range of local and global projects, with freedom in how you approach your work and a team that truly collaborates.
Location: Prague 2 – Vinohrady / hybrid
Contract type: Freelance (IČO)
Rate: 70–90,000 CZK/month
Scope: Full-time preferred, but part-time is possible
Start date: ASAP

We’re TRAU, a venture design studio helping startups turn ideas into products, brands, and services that make sense to both users and investors. For us, design isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about clarity, strategy, and real business impact.
We work with startups in AI, proptech, fintech, and crypto (e.g. Carl for Social, Ogre, Rendero, Twinzo, Littlebit), with VCs like Rockaway and Soulmates Ventures, and with global companies like Rohlik Group, Luxury Presence, or Jägermeister.
We design brands, UX, UI, and digital products that actually move the needle. We’re a small, focused team passionate about design, startups, and emerging tech — and we’re looking for someone who feels the same.
💻 What you’ll be doing
- Collaborating directly with startup founders on product and UX/UI design
- Creating concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI
- Designing logos and brand identities — from scratch or as a refresh
- Mentoring junior designers and supporting their growth
- Presenting work to clients and aligning with developers on implementation
You’ll work on a variety of projects — from scrappy MVPs to full rebrands and complex SaaS products.
🕵️ Who we’re looking for
- 4–5+ years in UX/UI design (web, apps, digital products)
- Strong sense for layout, typography, and user experience
- Able to explain your designs clearly and welcome feedback
- Up to date with current design trends and tools
- Figma power-user, comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily workflow
- Motivated to work on projects with global impact
- Interested in mentoring younger talent
Bonus points for skills in vibe coding, user testing, motion design, Webflow, 3D (Blender, Spline, WebGL) — if you have it, we’d love to see it.
