We’re in the early stages—our product is evolving fast, and we’re testing it with early adopters. We need engineers who love building, enjoy iterating quickly, and can bring high-quality user experiences to life without unnecessary complexity.
What You’ll Work On
- Fine-tune open-weight LLMs and embed models for production use
- Engineer prompts that verifiably deliver performance
- Deploy and manage inference pipelines in the wild
- Build and run evals to track model performance over time
- Ingest and process massive, messy datasets with structure and sanity
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ship real features fast
Who You Are
- You have at least 1 year of experience in data science or machine learning
- You’re experienced with Python, SQL, and NLP techniques
- You like solving real-world problems, not just fine-tuning abstract models
- You’re comfortable with messy, unstructured data and turning it into something useful
- You have experience deploying ML models on cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)
Bonus Points
- You've trained/fine-tuned language models in the wild
- If you've played with GRPO, dspy or Kendall tau distance, you are basically hired
- You have experience with learning from user-generated content
- You know how to keep a messy vector store from becoming a junk drawer
- Background in NLP, search, or recommendation systems
