At Merchantee, we're working on an ambitious project: creating a Co-pilot that helps e-shops expand and successfully manage sales across online marketplaces like Amazon, Allegro, or Bol. The European e-commerce market is evolving due to the growing popularity of online marketplaces, offering both a challenge and an opportunity for all online sellers to adopt marketplaces as a key sales channel. However, this shift brings numerous challenges, decisions, and complexities—this is where we come in with our suite of tools.

Merchantee is a B2B SaaS platform that gathers data from online marketplaces and combines it with the seller's data. Based on this, we provide key functions such as dynamic pricing, marketing activity management, inventory management, and product identification with potential. Our platform integrates elements of #Bigdata and #Machinelearning with solid analytics, delivering first-class value to our clients.

We have strong foundations: we're a well-funded startup backed by notable VC funds, with a rapidly growing customer base in three countries and a team made up of leading industry experts. We have big ambitions and are looking for enthusiastic and talented partners who want to join our mission and together build a product that will change the dynamics of the global e-commerce market.

• We plan and work in two-week sprints
• We meet in beautiful offices near Křižíkova metro, with the option to work from home a few times a week

🔍 Who we’re looking for:

• You know Python
• You have a product mindset and can help us quickly iterate on the product
• You don’t need everything laid out in detail but can come up with solutions and defend them
• You’re eager to learn new things and share your knowledge

🛠️  Tech stack:

• Python, GraphQL, FastAPI, SQL, Azure Cloud, Svelte, TypeScript

🚀  What you’ll do:

• We are fundamentally a Big Data startup, building strong Data Science expertise for data analysis and prediction
• Your expertise is needed to create, test, and maintain our backend architecture. We work in the Azure cloud and create SaaS tools
• You'll be part of a small team, collaborating with other developers and data engineers on complex projects for data acquisition and integration with various third-party systems (marketplaces, etc.)
• You’ll have a varied and interesting role—you’ll be involved in the creation of the next generation of our architecture, taking us from the proof-of-concept phase to scaling our business. We have many use cases and plenty of impatient customers, so there’s a lot to build
• You’ll take care of the full development cycle from analysis to deployment
• You’ll receive tasks that we’ll discuss, and we welcome your suggestions for better solutions
