There are currently two marketing Bibles. The first is Marketing Management from Kotler. Every shark should have it in their library as no book is cited more often in the worlds of academic marketing. Moreover, it is also published in Czech! The first edition was published in 1967, and the 15th edition is currently on the shelves.
The second is from author Byron Sharp. The essential foundations of marketing can be found in his Marketing: Theory, Evidence, Practice, which primarily looks at marketing in a scientific approach. Unfortunately, there is currently no Czech translation, so if you want to read it, you’ll have to do so in English.
t’s wise to remember that publications on marketing rarely contain some information that’s not outdated (considering that marketing is a dynamic environment that’s changing all the time). However, if I had to pick one book from the Czech pond, it would definitely be Jak na sítě by Michelle Losekoot & Eliška Vyhnánková.
